Sales Executive

A leading Roofing Sheet Manufacturing Company in the North Industrial Area is seeking to recruit a Sales Executive to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and strengthen customer relationships within assigned territories.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, and promoting the company’s roofing solutions to distributors, retailers, contractors, developers, architects, and individual customers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Promote and sell the company’s roofing sheets and related products to customers within assigned territories.
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities to increase sales and market share.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by management.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to generate sales and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Develop and implement territory sales plans to maximize revenue generation.

Customer and Channel Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, contractors, engineers, architects, and property developers.
  • Provide customers with product information, quotations, and technical guidance where necessary.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support distributors and dealers with product knowledge and sales promotion activities.

Project Sales Development

  • Identify and pursue construction projects, real estate developments, and infrastructure opportunities.
  • Engage architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, consultants, and developers to secure product specifications.
  • Track construction projects from planning stages through completion to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective projects and provide regular updates on project status.

Market Intelligence and Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products, and market trends.
  • Conduct market surveys and gather customer feedback to support business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain updated records of customers, prospects, sales activities, and opportunities.

Collections and Account Management

  • Follow up on customer payments and assist in the recovery of outstanding debts.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s credit and sales policies.
  • Reconcile customer accounts where necessary and support the finance team in collection efforts.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience, preferably in roofing sheets, steel products, building materials, construction products, aluminium products, cement, paints, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and develop customer relationships.
  • Experience in project sales and business development within the construction sector will be an added advantage.
