Sales and Marketing Manager

A leading Insurance brokerage firm is seeking to hire a Sales Marketing Manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our sales team.

JOB PURPOSE

To lead and drive the organization’s revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies that increase market share, enhance brand visibility, and build strong customer relationships. The role is responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, overseeing marketing campaigns, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and overall business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to enhance team performance.
• Cultivate and maintain key client relationships.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.
• Monitor individual and team performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Present insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.
• Allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Insurance or Business-related field
• Possess a professional insurance qualification- minimum Dip. In Insurance – GIC / its equivalent
• Minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience with at least 3 years in a middle management position. 
• Proven track record of success in premium generation, technical insurance
• placement, client management and executing effective marketing strategies
• Record of managing cross-border risk portfolios
• Ensure strict compliance with the rules and regulations of the regulator- National Insurance Commission (NIC) and all Regulatory bodies within the financial services ecosystem.
